# Search payments and billings

> Use the payment and billings search to find and filter lease payment records across the portfolio.

The Payments/Billings Search action lets you query all payment or billing records across your lease portfolio with flexible filtering options.

  <Step title="Open the search">
    From the lease home, click **Payments/Billings Search**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose payments or billings">
    Use the radio buttons at the top to select whether you are searching **Payments** or **Billings**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Run a broad search">
    To retrieve all records, click **Search** without entering any criteria.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Filter results">
    You have two ways to filter:

    **Option A — Column filters:** Enter criteria in the blank row above the results table and press Enter. For example, type a lease number in the lease number column and a payment type in the payment type column. Multiple column criteria are combined with AND logic.

    **Option B — Top-section fields:** Use the search fields in the upper section of the form (Lease Number, Payment Type, and others), then click **Search**.

    <Tip>Prefix search values with **%** to find partial matches. For example, `%Base` matches any payment type containing "Base".</Tip>

  <Step title="Export results">
    Click **Export** to download the results table to Excel.

  <Step title="Reset">
    Click **Reset** to clear the top-section search fields and start a new query.

<Note>The more criteria you enter, the narrower your results. Combine lease number and payment type filters to drill down to exactly the records you need.</Note>
