Basic Info
1
Open the lease
From the lease home, select the lease and click Lease Details. You land on the Basic Info tab.

Fill in the lease number and other general fields under General Information.
4
Enter key dates
Scroll to the Key Dates section and fill in:
- Current Term Begin / End — the active lease term

- Rent Commencement / Rent End — used for recurring cost reporting
- Possession Date — when you took possession (also used as the default accounting schedule start)
5

Fill in Rentable Area, Usable Area, Storage Area, and Total Building Area. The Pro Rata Share calculates automatically from rentable and total building area.

Contacts

Navigate to Contacts
Click Contract Details → Contacts.
2
Add an external contact
Search for the company, select it, choose the related contact, and click Link Company Contact. External contacts such as landlords and property managers are linked this way.
3
Add an internal contact
In the Internal Contacts table, click Add. Select the role (for example, Lease Accounting - Analyst or Rent Approver), search for the user by name, and click OK.
Internal contacts must be existing users in the system. They are required for approval workflows to function.
Additional abstraction areas include Obligations (maintenance responsibilities), Options and Terms (renewal/purchase/termination options), and Co-Tenancy clauses — all accessible from the Contract Details section of Lease Details.
