One-time payments capture lease payments that are outside standard recurring cost schedules — for example, security deposits, catch-up payments, or other non-recurring charges.
1

Navigate to Lease Financials

From the lease home, select the lease and click Lease Financials. You land on the Lease Payments tab.
2

Create a new payment

Click New. A new record is added to the list and the fields reset.
3

Enter payment details

Fill in the required fields:
  • Effective Date — the date the payment applies
  • Payment Category — for example, Other
  • Payment Type — for example, Security Deposit
  • Net Amount and Currency
  • Vendor — the payee for this payment
  • Applies From / Applies To — the period this payment covers
Add a Remittance Message and Comments if needed.
4

Set the payment status

The status defaults to Draft. You can manually set it to Paid - Manual Check, Void, or On Hold.
To set a payment to Approved, it must go through the payment batch approval process.
5

Save

Click Save to keep your changes.
6

Copy payments (optional)

To create similar payments quickly, select an existing payment and click Copy. Modify the duplicate — such as the effective date or amount — then save.
Payments that have already been processed cannot be modified or deleted.
